We are very aware that cricket can be quite costly for parents, especially when you have more than one child who plays the game. The information on this page is intended as a beginner’s guide for Parents, Grandparents and Carers.
If you visit a cricket shop, you will be swamped by the range of bats, pads, helmets, and countless other accessories available. Don’t worry, not all of these are essential for your child to own.
Didcot Cricket Club has a communal kit bag containg a variety of bats, pads, gloves and helmets which junior players are welcome to use.
